This personal project is an epic fantasy film trailer. It tells the story of Nagah, a kid who will have to travel to the Night kingdom with a group of brave warriors in order to make the Sun god shine again.

Temtem is a MMO creature-collection video game, developed by Spanish studio Crema Games and published by Humble Bundle.

After producing the trailer for the game's early access in 2020, the studio contacted us again to make a new one for the game's launch in 2022.

The biggest challenge was to come up with ways to convey the same spirit of adventure and exploration the first trailer had, but also include newer game mechanics such as fishing, the ability to use mounts, and Dojo Wars.

I´m not alone is a 2D animation shortfilm project about learning to move on after losing someone. We have the script, the character designs and a 1min trailer to help us fund the project.

Sword of the Necromancer is an action RPG game that belongs to the genre of dungeon crawlers and hack'n slash, and includes Rogue-like elements.

It has been developed by the studio Grimorio of Games, and published by Jandusoft.

In this trailer, which also doubles as an introduction to the game itself, we introduce Tama, a former bandit hired as Koko's bodyguard, a priestess whom she swore to protect but who died during their pilgrimage. Tama takes Koko deep into the Necromancer's crypts, where it is said that there is a power that can raise the dead.

For this video it was essential that the mechanics of the game were reflected, such as the possibility of reviving the monsters you defeat in the dungeons, or of turning your enemies into allies. The game was launched in December 2020.

Souldiers is Spanish studio Retro Forge first game. In addition to its high difficulty, this metroidvania game stands out for its stunning pixel art.

Our main goal in this animation was to highlight all three classes of playable characters: the Scout, the Archer, and the Conjurer, as well as the different ways each of them faces Terragaya's enemies.

Devikins is an RPG game developed by Moonlab Studios.

We were commissioned to create a trailer introducing The Void, the fantastical setting where players can gather, breed, and engage in combat with their Devikins.

The challenge of graphically conveying the wonderful, yet nostalgic atmosphere of the game was what we found most interesting.

This trailer gave us the chance to work on some elaborate and painterly backgrounds, and experiment with giving the characters a less anime and more textured appearance.

Friends vs. Friends is a multiplayer shooter created by the Spanish studio Brainwash Gang and released by Raw Fury.

We had a lot of fun creating the characters and coming up with unique ways for them to kill each other while still maintaining a lighthearted, enjoyable atmosphere and avoiding excessively explicit violence.

The most important part was to emphasise how the player chooses their weapons and powers using a special deck card, which provides them with the ability to pester their friends.

Temtem is an MMORPG role-playing videogame, developed by the Spanish studio Crema Games, and published by Humble Bundle.

The team at Crema relied on us to create an animation trailer to promote the launch of their Early Access in January 2020. We were inspired by all those classic anime openings we used to watch on tv Saturday mornings when we were young (and not so much). Through exotic locations, always accompanied by their Temtems, we will see our protagonists grow in strength until they become the strongest trainers of all.

We really enjoyed creating a video that represents the spirit of adventure, exploration and creature collecting, all of it accompanied by a song you won't be able to get out of your head.

Monster Masters is a real-time multiplayer game in which you can collect, upgrade and evolve dozens of monsters.

Developed by LanParty Games, we loved the humorous approach they wanted to give to the animation, which enabled us to take a different approach from our usual one.

We endeavoured to demonstrate the dynamism of the in-game combat via a fast paced narrative, taking inspiration from anime's opening sequences.

CrisTales is a turn-based action RPG videogame developed by Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK, and published by Modus Games.

Ages. We will meet her allies and their powers, as we walk through beautiful locations inspired by real ones from the creators home country, Colombia.

The game is a tribute to classic JRPGs, but it's art is heavely influenced by Colombian culture, which makes it very visually interesting and original. For us it was a priority to reflect this combination, and to respect as much as possible the 2D style of the original game in this animation that we made for the launch of the playable demo, in July 2020. The biggest challenge was to represent the three simultaneous temporary spaces in our animation, that are characteristic of the game's mechanics.

Blasphemous is an action-platformer hack'n slash game developed by The Game Kitchen and published by Team 17.

With a decadent and melancholic atmosphere, it explores Andalusian religious culture, relying on fascinating bloody impactful designs through pixel art.

In this video, guilt and the search for divine forgiveness are the main focus. We follow our hooded protagonist through landscapes and enemies that evoke religious themes, and leave no one indifferent. The visual richness of both the character and monster designs was complex to translate into animation, but terribly satisfying once finalized.

Neon Blood is a science-fiction RPG with adventure elements. Set in a cyberpunk world, the game tells the story of Axel McCoin, a detective who will work against the injustices caused by the differences between the two cities that exist in this dystopic society he lives in.

We made four cinematics for this game by Chaotic Brain Studio and Meridiem Games, adapting the pixel art style from the game and the cyber-punk vibe to the 2D animation.

Eden's Guardian is a 2D Metroidvania game with a pixel art graphic style inspired by classic video games of the genre.

The game is focused on giving the player a challenging experience with tight and smooth gameplay, boss fights, a vast connected world, and another take on some mechanics of the Metroidvania games.

We were hired by Voragine Game Studio to make an animated trailer for the crowdfunding campaign they launched in 2024 which was a huge success. We enjoyed very much recreating the dark fantasy mood of the ruins where the video takes place and the intricate armor and weapons of the characters.

"Lofi Girl" is a French record label and YouTube channel founded in 2015. It offers live streaming of lo-fi hip-hop music complemented by Japanese-style animation featuring a girl studying or relaxing. Despite our usual focus on working with video game developers, we decided to explore new territory by creating a music video for Wys's song "Snowman."

Collaborating with the iconic character Lofi Girl proved to be an exceptionally rewarding experience, amplified by the positive response from her YouTube channel's community. On the flip side, it posed a challenge due to the video's more narrative nature and its extended duration, surpassing the typical length of our regular work.

“Laika: Aged Through Blood” is a western-themed motorvania set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. The story centers around a tribe oppressed by occupying forces, following the personal journey of a mother coyote warrior descending into a spiral of vengeance to reclaim what her people have lost.

We have been fortunate to collaborate with Brainwash Gang once again, creating cinematics for their latest game. The game's incredible 2D artwork provided a rich source of inspiration for animating the characters and settings, making our job both easier and more enjoyable.

The Knight Witch is a metroidvania game developed by Super Mega Team that seamlessly blends shooter dynamics with the unique twist of using decks of cards to cast magic and skills.

We were involved in creating two distinct videos: the first, a narrative showcase delving into the protagonist Rayne and her relationship with fellow Knight Witches, and the second, a more action-packed piece where our emphasis was on illustrating the intense combat scenarios where players must vanquish hordes of enemies by strategically utilizing cards. This presented an ideal opportunity to introduce one of the game's key adversaries, showcasing fast-paced fights within The Knight Witch.

After working on the Wounds of Eventide DLC trailer video for the first Blasphemous game, The Game Kitchen team enlisted our help in creating all the cinematics for Blasphemous II.

They aimed to produce several videos to introduce new characters, locations, and showcase the various endings.

With the guidance of Enrique Cabeza as art director, we navigated the most significant challenge for us: establishing a new and distinct visual identity for this second installment that is still recognizable and coherent with the first one.

Moonstone Island is a captivating life simulator and creature-collecting game within a vast open world with over 100 islands to discover. Developed by Supersoft and published by Raw Fury, the need arose for a short animated scene to kick off their launch trailer in September 2023.

The biggest challenge was to make the character designs in a way that was cohesive with the pixel art of the game, while also capturing the vibrant richness of its world in 2D animation.

Symphonia is a 2D platform game that unfolds in a fantasy musical kingdom. To restore life and energy in his world, the main character, Philemon, must employ the powers of his violin to assemble an orchestra.

This is a project close to our hearts, as we've witnessed its growth from its inception as a student project.

After completing their studies, the project's creators established Sunny Peak and subsequently collaborated with HeadUp to bring the game to fruition. We were then tasked with creating a 2D animation trailer, drawing inspiration from the game's art characterized by intricate platform scenarios with musical instrument themes.
